To start working with Cache Pro pt for ‘enable hints’ in the extension’s settings, at System > Configuration > Neklo > Cache Pro > ‘Enable Hints’. Then you can select a block on your storefront page that you want to cache and by clicking on it get straight to the admin panel to set the block’s configuration. Having completed that, press the ‘save’ button. Next to the blocks cached you’ll see a special mark saying ‘from cache’.
The key advantage of Cache Pro extension is its flexibility: realizing that there is no universal solution that suits every business, Cache Pro extension easily customizable to provide you with a perfect speed optimization tool that works for your store. You may use it even for pages that are not cached by a full page cache, like checkout and customer account pages. Also, for your convenience, the default caching for some of the Magento blocks is already enabled, leaving the choice of the rest to be cached up to you.
After the extension is enabled, you can see the block hints on the storefront, as well as their status, the times of their creation and expiration. From the backend, you can manage every block at System > Neklo CachePro > Manage Block Settings. Here, you can add specific blocks, delete them and view and edit the details.
There are 5+ options defining whether the block is cached or not that you can alter for each block independently if you have such a necessity. By default, all the key settings are preset, but you are free to change them. After every edit, you are able to see the changes on the storefront in the blue frames that give you information about each block condition.
For each block, there is the URL setting that allows you to point out one or more links. After the visitor goes through the link from this setting, the block’s cache will be cleaned.
There is a Cache lifetime in seconds that you can choose for each block to stay in cache and appear when required. By default, the cache lifetime is 86400 in seconds, which is one day.
